The Assistant Professor-PhD (Non-Nursing) responsibility encompasses education, research, and/or service. Demonstrates loyalty to the mission, policies, standards, and regulations of his/her department, school, and the University, and follows the administrative policies set up by the University and the individual school. Performs other duties as needed. This role is in the School of Nursing supports faculty by leading instructional and curriculum design for online, blended, and campus-based courses, providing training in online teaching, and overseeing the learning design process. Reporting to the Dean, this role involves collaborating with faculty and administrators on course development, evaluating learning resources, shaping teaching guidelines, and ensuring continuous quality improvement in instructional practices. The specialist also teaches up to 8 credits annually at undergraduate and graduate levels, participates in accreditation, assessment, scholarship, and service activities, and engages in professional development through conferences and research.
