About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Professor - Palliative Medicine with the department of Medicine at Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion University. This position delivers medical care to patients in a hospital setting. May be involved with the clinical rating of students/residents.

Requirements

• Must hold an MD, DO or MBBS through the VA State Licensing Board.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients in a hospital and outpatient clinic setting.
• Collaborate with Nursing, office staff, administration in patient care
• Collaborate with peers, faculty and support staff
• Participate in academic/clinical/research activities as needed
• Participate in education evaluation and career development of students, residents, fellows and staff.
• Participate in committees as assigned.
