About The Position

Stockton University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach developmental first-year writing courses as part of an innovative, University-wide First-Year Studies program, housed in the School of General Studies. Experience with and commitment to first-year students, including especially our course for students who may benefit from extra support, is essential. As Writing Program faculty, new hires also will have opportunities to teach upper-level writing courses in our Writing Minor. The program hopes successful candidates can contribute to the re-imagined WAC/WID program. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate ongoing scholarship/creative work, engage in University service, and teach in the interdisciplinary General Studies curriculum.
