Coe College invites applications from dynamic, student-centered individuals for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2026. The success of Coe College is driven by the success of our graduates. Therefore, we place a priority on recruiting faculty who can fully engage students both in and out of the classroom. The successful candidate should expect to offer quality instruction at all levels of the curriculum across a range of topics, from introductory to more specialized courses. There will be the opportunity to develop new courses based on area of expertise. Teaching load is three courses per semester (3-3). An interdisciplinary program collaborating with Sociology and Philosophy, this major focuses on the administration of the criminal justice system with special emphasis on the disparate treatment of marginalized groups. The ability to teach in the college's African American Studies program is a plus. Program faculty also have the opportunity to contribute to the Justice Learning Initiative.
