Georgetown College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position within the Department of Psychology to begin August 2026 . Area of specialization is open, with preference for Development or Social Psychology. The position comes with a teaching load of 4/4 (four courses in the Fall, four courses in the Spring). Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in the department. Candidates are expected to exhibit a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Georgetown College is a private, Christian, liberal arts institution and emphasis is placed on teaching excellence in a diverse context. It is located in the small college town of Georgetown, Kentucky, just 12 miles north of Lexington. The Psychology Department at Georgetown College currently includes 3 full-time faculty and 2 part-time faculty in areas of clinical psychology, counseling psychology, and cognitive psychology.
