The Department of Accounting and Information Systems of the Rutgers Business School at Newark and New Brunswick, Rutgers University, is seeking a non-tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Professional Practice starting the academic year of 2026-2027.Preferences will be given to those candidates with a background in artificial intelligence and its practical application. Rutgers Business School's Accounting and Information Systems Department is dedicated to the development and dissemination of knowledge. it actively cultivates future business and academic leaders. The department's world-class scholars publish their research in the field's most prestigious journals as well as in journal dedicated to emerging areas of accounting such as continuous tax and auditing. As part of the business school at a major public research university, the Department of Accounting Information Systems is committed to the advancement of knowledge and preparation of future leaders for business and academic careers through scholarly research, teaching and service as set forth below. The Accounting and Information Systems Department has 40 full time faculty members. The Rutgers Business School offers BS, MBA, Masters of Accountancy and a PH.D. program with two concentrations, one in accounting and one in accounting and information systems.
