The Department of Physics at Oakland University is seeking a condensed matter theorist for a tenure track Assistant Professor position starting on August 15, 2019. A Ph.D. in physics, and capability for excellent teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level are required. However, applicants in any area of theoretical condensed matter physics will be considered. Preference will also be given to candidates based on the extent of their record of teaching and the extent of their record of external funding. To receive full consideration, applications should be received by January 7, 2019. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
