About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: The Department of Mathematics at Greensboro College invites applications for an Assistant Professor position starting in the fall semester of 2026. CAMPUS OVERVIEW: Greensboro College is a private, four-year, liberal-arts institution and, in keeping with the historic United Methodist ideal of nonsectarian education, is an equal opportunity employer. The college seeks persons for the faculty who are strongly committed to effective teaching, who will maintain high academic standards, and who are willing to work closely with students in and out of class. USNews.com ranked Greensboro, NC in their top 100 best places to live as “one of those places that's big enough to have everything you need but small enough for you to regularly bump into people you know”. Greensboro is part of the Piedmont Triad and is nicknamed the "Gate City" with good reason: it's a short trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains to the west or a beach weekend to the east.
