Assistant Professor of Journalism
About The Position
The University of Central Arkansas School of Communication seeks two Assistant Professors of Journalism (Tenure Track) in the area of Multimedia Journalism. These are nine-month appointments. The successful candidates must be committed to teaching in a liberal arts environment and intent on maintaining an active artistic and scholarly life. The Assistant Professor is responsible for teaching, research and service. These position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Screening of applications will begin January 5, 2026, and continue until the positions are filled. The anticipated start date is August 16, 2026.
