Assistant Professor of Instruction in Electrial Engineering

Requirements

• An earned master’s and/or doctorate in electrical and/or computer engineering or a closely related discipline.
• The ability to teach courses in electrical and computer engineering.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
• Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following tools/technologies: circuits and systems, digital electronics, power systems and electronics, IoT, renewable energy, and Smart Grid Systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in curriculum development and enhancement in electrical and computer engineering programs.
• Proven track record of successful student mentoring and support in an academic environment.
• Industrial or post-doctoral experience.
• An area of expertise that complements the existing strengths of the department faculty.
• Knowledge about ABET accreditation procedures and deliverables.
