Candidates must have a Ph.D. or DBA in human resource management and/or a JD from an accredited University or a terminal degree in a related field prior to the start date. Significant professional work and teaching experience in Labor and Employment Law, Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining or a related business discipline from an AACSB (or international equivalent) accredited University is preferred Responsibilities The successful candidate will be able to effectively teach courses in Labor and Employment Law, Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining, and possibly other courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, using in-person, hybrid and online modalities. The teaching assignment is 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester totaling 8 courses per year. In addition, candidates should demonstrate a willingness and ability to maintain AACSB qualifications. This is a full-time, 9-month position. Compensation for summer courses, when scheduled, is in addition to the base salary. The position will be housed within the School of Management at the USF Tampa campus. The School of Management at USF’s Muma College of Business offers cutting-edge undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs on three campuses (Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee) in Management and Entrepreneurship, in addition to several graduate certificate programs. The school also hosts certain general business courses, including the business capstone course. While this position is based in Tampa, teaching assignments may occur on any campus.
