Wilkes University invites applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor of Nursing Tenure Track position in the Passan School of Nursing (PSON) graduate program. The PSON provides comprehensive programming which has expanded professional opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). This hybrid position is for the graduate program. The candidate will report to the Chair of graduate nursing and teach in the MSN, DNP, and PhD programs. The successful candidate is primarily responsible for didactic teaching, advising, scholarship, and service both university and community. This full-time position requires a PhD in nursing, unencumbered RN and CRNP licensure in PA, national board certification in AGPCNP or FNP, a minimum of 3 years' experience in clinical practice as an AGPCNP or FNP, and a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a graduate nursing program with distance education preferred. Candidates currently enrolled in a PhD in nursing program may be considered based upon their education completed and experience in the role and population of an AGPCNP or FNP.
