PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will fulfill the duties of tenure track faculty to include: Teach courses in the Teacher Education core Advise students and supervise student teachers Contribute to student recruitment activities Contribute to Teacher Education Program responsibilities

Requirements

  • Earned degree in Education.
  • Doctorate in Education (or related field) or ABD
  • three years of successful 5-12 teaching experience
  • demonstrated understanding of student-centered learning, teacher preparation, and excellence in teaching
  • commitment to inclusive communities.
  • Ability to teach in the education professional core and facilitate student work in diverse settings.
  • Successful candidates will also have a demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusive community in a multicultural educational and work environment and must be willing to support the College’s mission and contribute to the strategic plan.
