Requirements

  • Ph.D in Finance or closely related field.
  • Must have experience teaching college-level finance courses including courses in corporate finance and investments; designing and delivering finance courses in multiple instructional modalities, including traditional in-person and online formats; conducting empirical finance research in corporate finance, financial markets, or related fields using large-scale financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ); and performing advanced statistical and econometric analysis utilizing Stata, R, SAS, and Python.
  • Must have a demonstrated record of academic scholarship including drafting working papers with a focus on corporate finance.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Teach three finance courses per semester at the undergraduate and MBA levels in both in-person and hybrid formats.
  • Conduct scholarly research in corporate finance and related fields that leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals consistent with AACSB Scholarly Academic (SA) standards.
  • Demonstrate effective teaching and provide comprehensive advising and mentoring of students, encompassing both academic progress and career development.
  • Develop and revise curricula, course content, and instructional methods to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to the department, school, and university through service activities such as curriculum development, assessment, and committee participation.
  • Teach college-level finance courses including courses in corporate finance and investments.
