The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Savannah State University is seeking applicants for a 10-month, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice, beginning Fall 2026. Criminal Justice is a popular discipline and has an online degree option. We are seeking to increase the corps of instructors to expand both in-person and online course offerings while strengthening community and industry partnerships. The successful applicant will teach a variety of criminal justice courses, such as Introduction to Criminal Justice, Research Methods, Statistics, Crime Analysis, and Criminal Justice Management. Online and in-person teaching is required. The candidate is expected to demonstrate proficiency in online course delivery, experiential learning strategies, student engagement, and contribute to the growth and innovation of our program.
