About The Position
Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Health & Human Sciences invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Counseling. Responsibilities will include teaching graduate counseling courses, advising and mentoring students, supervising practicum and/or internship classes, engaging in scholarly activity, engaging in University/community service, and participating in all aspects of the program's administration.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited institution (must be conferred by August 1st 2026.)
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Professional Counselor in Louisiana.

Nice To Haves

- Prior teaching and advising experience.
