About The Position

The Department of Communication Studies at Ashland University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor to start in August 2024. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Teaching is primarily at the undergraduate level in both face to face and online modalities, but may include graduate courses. An active research agenda is an important element of the position. Service may include assistance with departmental assessment activities, advising, and supervising internships. The position reports to the chair of the Department of Communication Studies.

Requirements

  • PhD in Communication Studies or Speech Communication (or closely related field)
