The Miami Transplant Institute, a collaboration between Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Miller School of Medicine are seeking to recruit outstanding and energetic Intensivists to join their team for an exciting ICU opportunity. Experience with critically ill cardiac, cardiothoracic, heart, and lung transplant patients is strongly preferred. Candidates are expected to be proficient with standard intensive care procedures. Responsibilities will include managing post-transplant, cardiac, and cardiothoracic patients with a team of ARNP’s and house staff to provide 24/7 coverage in house. Additional desirable skills include the ability to medically communicate in Spanish. All candidates must be board certified or board eligible within 3 years of completion of training in Critical Care. Selected candidates will have an academic appointment at the University of Miami within the Department and Specialty division of their primary specialty as well as a cross appointment at the Miami Transplant Institute.
