About The Position

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law seeks an Assistant Professor of Clinical Education to direct its Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC). The LITC provides free legal services to low-income Arkansans seeking to settle or adjudicate tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (ADFA) and trains law students to represent clients in these matters. The Director of the Bowen LITC is responsible for all aspects of the Tax Clinic, including client representation, law student supervision, classroom instruction, community outreach and education, and IRS compliance. This is a 12-month, full-time position funded by a grant from the IRS Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic Program.
