The School of Management (SOM) holds separate AACBS accreditations in Business and Accounting and is nationally recognized for its success in developing future business leaders. SOM is listed as a top 10 business school among fully public institutions by Poets&Quants. The School offers bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. programs. SOM consistently ranks among the top business schools for our undergraduate and graduate business programs. Faculty in the School of Management have a collegial relationship and regularly collaborate on research topics that integrate micro/macro levels and various disciplines, leverage different methodological perspectives (e.g., qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method approaches), and utilize extant multilevel and other advanced analytical tools. We are seeking a researcher who would complement this orientation with methodological and analytical foundations and a willingness to engage in multilevel and interdisciplinary research. Faculty have published in high-quality journals that include: Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Marketing Science, Management Science, Manufacturing and Service Operations Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Leadership Quarterly, Organizational Research Methods, Organization Studies, Organization Science, and Personnel Psychology. Additionally, our faculty have received external funding from federal agencies including: Army Research Institute, Department of Defense, Federal Emergency Management Association, and the National Science Foundation. The School of Management at Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Management Analytics to begin Fall 2026, subject to budgetary approval.
