About The Position

The ideal candidate for this tenure-track position will have a passion for teaching, a strong commitment to scholarly activities, and a desire to contribute to the academic and professional development of students.

Requirements

Candidates for the position must have a minimum of a Master of Accountancy or a terminal degree in a related business field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in accounting and a CPA.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
Advanced organizational skills
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Must be able to access and navigate campus facilities.

Nice To Haves

Candidates with 18 graduate semester hours in law and/or teaching experience are preferred.
Preferably at least 1 year of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

To plan and deliver lectures, develop course assignments and grade student work.
To advise and mentor students on academic paths and career matters.
To update and revise current course materials, in addition to developing new courses or programs as needed.
To support the University through committee service and attendance at required events.
To conduct the appropriate level of research and/or attend conferences to stay current in field of expertise.
