About The Position

The Department of Mathematics of Baruch College - CUNY invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track position beginning on or about August 28, 2026. The appointment will be at the assistant professor level. The department is seeking a candidate whose research interests intersect with those of our faculty, these areas include combinatorics, number theory, financial mathematics, probability, and computer science. Baruch College, located in the historic Gramercy Park/Flatiron district of Manhattan, is one of eleven senior colleges of the City University of New York (CUNY), housing the Zicklin School of Business, the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, and the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. Requirements

  • A Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field is required
  • Strong undergraduate teaching skills
