Requirements
- Earned Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Educational Leadership or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated record of achievement in teaching graduate level courses, and service.
- Experience as a practicing educational leader, serving as a principal, assistant superintendent, or superintendent is strongly preferred.
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A great disposition
- Superior working relations with students, peers, administrators, and others.
- Experience in teaching courses through Blackboard and web-course development is strongly desired
- Ability to lead a remote team.
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to applicants with online course design experience
Responsibilities
- Teach a broad range of graduate level Education courses as well as courses in the specialty area of Educational Leadership.
- Supervision of practicum and/or internship students
- Active participation in departmental and university activities-.
- Building a sustaining a principal pipeline for the K-12 partners by effectively recruiting and training quality principal candidates.
- Recruitment of school district partners
- Sophisticated time management
- Organizational skills
- Commitment to travel as needed.
