About The Position

The Allied Health Department is seeking an on-campus full-time, tenure-track position teaching courses to support our online healthcare management program and other related departmental courses. Responsibilities will include: Teaching: Teaching a standard load of online and on-campus courses per academic term. Developing and maintaining high-quality, engaging online courses. Advising: Mentoring and advising students in the healthcare management program. Meeting with students through regularly scheduled office hours Curriculum Development: Works in developing and revising the healthcare management program to ensure it meets the industry standards and prepares students for successful careers. Service: Participating in departmental and college activities and committees. Professional Growth and Development: An eagerness to grow professionally and personally.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in healthcare management, healthcare administration, business administration with a focus on healthcare, or related

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in a healthcare-related field
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Online teaching experience a plus
  • Experience in student advising
  • Experience working in a healthcare-related field, particularly a management role
  • Ability to teach courses in other programs in the department a plus (health information management, radiologic technology, diagnostic medical sonography, MRI)
