The tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at East Texas A&M University (ETAMU) is a full-time, 9-month role within the College of Science and Engineering. This role will play a vital part in the university’s Environmental Science program. The ideal candidate will tackle issues of state, regional, and national importance in environmental protection, with a specific focus on teaching and research related to aquatic environmental restoration, wastewater treatment, and/or hydrologic remediation. This role will enhance the college’s missions in teaching, research, and service through impactful externally funded research, effective and comprehensive teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and meaningful contributions to the department, college, university, and profession, all within a student-ready framework.
