About The Position

The Sports, Arts, Entertainment and Music Business (SAEM) department of the Rowland School of Business at Point Park University seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor; appointment to begin August 2026. We are seeking a candidate with a strong commitment to entertainment management education and teaching excellence. Teaching responsibilities may include courses in entertainment management and arts management as well as Sports, Arts, Entertainment and Music Business. Additional responsibilities may include student organization advising, mentoring students, curriculum development, and professional outreach. Terminal degree or equivalent professional experience required; MBA from an accredited institution preferred. The Sports, Arts, Entertainment and Music Business department serves close to 125 majors and takes advantage of Pittsburgh's dynamic urban environment with shadowing, internships, and jobs at world-class venues large and small just steps away from campus.
