About The Position
Assistant Professor – Dermatology (Academic-Clinician Research Track) Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology The Department of Dermatology at the Emory University School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure, academic-clinician track. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Emory University offers a vibrant academic community, outstanding clinical resources, and a collaborative environment dedicated to advancing dermatologic care, education, and research. NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care
- Strong commitment to teaching and mentorship in an academic environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care within Emory University Dermatology Clinics
- In addition to adult patients, required to serve as a clinical dermatologist focused on pediatric dermatology
- Contribute to the teaching and supervision of dermatology residents and/or fellows
- Participate in the department’s academic and educational mission
