The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. Both positions begin on September 1, 2026. One position requires a strong background in quantitative analysis and specialization in white collar crime and/or green criminology. Specifically, the candidate's research should focus on environmental crimes (e.g. violation of clean water/air statutes) and/or financial crimes. The second position requires a strong background in quantitative analysis but otherwise has an open area of specialization. Successful candidates must be prepared to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in criminology and criminal justice, including courses in social statistics and research methods, conduct and publish research in criminology and criminal justice, and perform service to the department, university, and discipline. In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
