The Robert W. Plaster School of Business at Park University invites applicants for an Assistant Professor in Accounting. This is a tenure-track position located in Parkville, MO with a start date of August 2026. Position Accountabilities Primary responsibilities include high-quality face-to-face and online teaching, service, and scholarship. Qualified candidates will demonstrate working collaboratively with colleagues for program development, assessment, providing service to the university and community, and engaging in student advising. Strong candidates will have compelling evidence to teach multiple accounting courses and serve as the program lead for the accounting major. Position Requirements: Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. or D.B.A in Accounting, or equivalent terminal degree from a regionally accredited university. CPA certification desired. Accepted qualifications: Master's degree in accounting with CPA certification. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics: Demonstrated record of outstanding teaching effectiveness. Demonstrated record of high quality intellectual & scholarly activity. Related Industry or consulting experience.
