Requirements

  • An Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing team leadership
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using common production support tools
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment
  • A commitment to motivating teams and supporting continuous improvement
  • Experience supervising production teams
  • Ability to read production-related instructions including safety rules, operating guides, and procedure manuals
  • Strong communication, coaching, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to analyze problems, make decisions, and guide others through changes

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, and assign work to production team members to meet safety, quality, and production goals
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees by providing performance feedback, supporting career development, and enforcing policies
  • Review product quality and ensure machines are correctly set up, quickly addressing any issues
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency through production methods, equipment performance, and working conditions
  • Maintain accurate time, attendance, and production records, collaborating with other supervisors to coordinate work across departments
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and support employees in solving problems
