The Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is a network of top-performing public charter schools in Arizona, recognized for our commitment to academic excellence, equity, and college-preparatory rigor. Our mission is to provide quality education to underserved communities and equip students with the knowledge, skills, and character to succeed in high school, college, and beyond. At AMS, we believe in developing strong instructional leaders who are data-driven, culturally responsive, and relentlessly focused on student achievement. If you’re an educator and leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is dedicated to continuous growth, we want to hear from you. The Assistant Principal (Grades 3–8, Math & Science Focus) at AMS South Mountain plays a key role in supporting academic excellence and ensuring high-quality instruction across upper elementary and middle school math and science classrooms. This role involves directly coaching teachers, analyzing student performance data, and driving instructional improvement to ensure all students meet or exceed grade-level expectations. You will collaborate with the campus principal, academic coaches, and other school leaders to uphold AMS’s rigorous academic standards and foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
