About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Plant Manager to support plant operations, drive process improvements, and ensure production goals are met efficiently. This role will work closely with the Plant Manager to oversee daily operations, enhance productivity, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in automotive or industrial production.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive change, and improve operational performance.
• Experience with safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing all plant operations, including production, quality, safety, and maintenance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a culture of workplace safety and compliance.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet production targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and HR, to optimize operations.
• Oversee employee training and development, fostering a culture of growth and engagement.
• Assist in managing budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for plant operations.
• Act as a key decision-maker in the Plant Manager’s absence, ensuring seamless operations.
