The New York Post is currently seeking an experienced PT Temporary Photo Researcher to to support its Alexa Magazine team. Alexa is published 10+ times a year in an upscale broadsheet format and inserted into the New York Post, Alexa showcases luxury lifestyle trends and celebrity exclusives. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with clarity and focus. Strong time-management and prioritization skills are essential, along with the ability to learn and retain new information quickly. Because we are a lean team, each person’s role is an important part of a well-oiled machine. We’re looking for someone who supports that structure—staying focused on their responsibilities while contributing reliably to shared workflows. Meticulous attention to detail, strong fact-checking habits, and consistent follow-through are essential. An editorial background is ideal, and a proactive, self-starter mindset is a must. The Assistant Photo Editor would support the Alexa Photo Editor and Photo Department as a whole on an as-needed basis. This is a technical, administrative, and production-support role, rather than a creative or design-based position. Flexibility required to work on an as needed basis, ranging from 1-5 shifts per week
