About The Position

Under the direction of the Pastry Chef, the incumbent is responsible for the daily preparation of the pastries, cakes and other desserts. This role involves coordinating and supervising the daily workload and activities in the pastry areas, ensuring the quality of pastries and breads, and planning production schedules. The Assistant Pastry Chef will also adhere to all company and department policies, food and beverage requisitions and procedures, and maintain the bake shop in a clean and sanitary manner in accordance with local and state health department codes. The position ensures the bake shop operates within established guidelines in respect of food and beverage labor costs within the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, a world-renowned entertainment, gaming and hospitality destination.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary Arts degree
  • Six (6) to ten (10) years of food production experience

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
