Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have the ability to lift occasionally 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Automotive & Technical knowledge is required
- Excellent customer service experience
- Strong communication skills
- Organized and friendly personality
- Demonstrated ability to manage others
- Time management skills
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Team oriented and self-motivated
- Able to work with little supervision
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department
- Train and monitor the performance of all parts department staff
- Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments
- Create pricing guidelines for customer categories
- Monitor and adjust inventory
- Guarantee all parts are properly tagged
- Supervise stock order procedures
- Work closely with Service Manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed
- Enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Enforce safety requirements
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Keep clear and open communication with Parts Manager and team
