The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services' (NDCS) Community Supervision Services division is seeking an Assistant Parole Officer (APO) to provide technical support to the Lincoln area Parole Officers and to serve as the Lincoln office's drug technician. Candidates for this position must be male in order to comply with the established NDCS Supervision Drug and Alcohol Testing Protocol. The position will involve minimal travel around the Lancaster, Gage, Seward, Saline, Johnson, Otoe, Richardson, and Saunders County area. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. However, this role requires scheduling flexibility; hours may shift to a mid-shift (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM) based on operational needs or to provide direct support to officers and clients.
