About The Position

The School of Education seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor – Non-Tenure Track - in Organizational Learning, Performance and Change, dedicated to the area of Organization Development in workforce and societal institutions. Further, opportunities for collaboration in teaching, research, and advising with higher education leadership, learning design and training, counseling and career development will be available. We seek a scholar who (a) can advise a high number of doctoral students across methodological specialties, (b) can teach doctoral-level courses in-person and online related to organizational change and quantitative research methods, (c) has practical experience in organizations with designing and managing learning and performance improvement programs, and (d) can work across multiple program areas within the School of Education and Colorado State University. The School of Education offers its programs within the College of Health and Human Sciences at Colorado State University. Requirements

  • Earned doctorate degree in HRD, Management, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Psychology or a related field by June 1, 2025.
  • Record of advising Doctoral students commensurate with a research-intensive university.
  • Experience teaching Doctoral level change management courses.
  • Experience teaching Doctoral level quantitative research courses.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience advising and mentoring Ph.D. students
  • Experience teaching quantitative research methods.
  • Expertise in advanced quantitative research methods (e.g., multivariate statistics, quasi- and experimental designs, advanced causal inference methods)
  • Emerging service in relevant national and/or international professional organizations.
  • Experience with curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive practices and culturally relevant instruction.
  • Experience with program planning, student recruitment, and enrollment management.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Relevant practical industry experience in the chosen area of expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Advise Doctoral Students – Primarily in the OLPC PHD Program and other School doctoral programs
  • Teach Doctoral level courses related to organizational change
  • Teach Doctoral level courses related to quantitative research methods
