The School of Arts & Sciences at Mount St. Joseph University invites applications for a full-time (nine-month), tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Biology position, beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will teach in our undergraduate Biology and Biomedical Sciences programs and potentially in the University’s graduate Physician Assistant program. Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in undergraduate anatomy and physiology and/or graduate-level gross anatomy. Candidates with cadaver-based gross anatomy experience or who are willing to train in that area will be given preference. Additional courses in the candidate’s specialization are also welcomed, particularly in the areas of developmental biology, musculoskeletal anatomy, neuroscience, and/or forensic science. Other duties include advising, mentoring undergraduate research, and supporting departmental and university needs. We seek candidates who embody our mission, are passionate about preparing future biologists, and are committed to advancing the field through teaching, research, and service. A review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Questions about the position should be directed to Dr. Elizabeth A.
