Following a recent $42 million transformation, the arena continues to set the standard for innovation, premium hospitality, and guest experience. THE ROLE The Assistant Manager of Operations at the Desert Diamond Arena is responsible for supervising both the Conversion Leads and part-time Conversions Crew. This person will work with the Lead Conversion Crew Members in training and instructing up to 15 part-time Conversions employees in performing the day-to-day set-up and break-down of the facility, both inside and outside, from one event to another. This role will also assist with day-to-day repair, maintenance, and cleanliness of the facility, assist in monitoring expenses associated with conversion, as well as make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The incumbent will have experience in operating forklifts, scissor lifts and other necessary equipment and assist the Event Services department on all show related requests. The incumbent is also expected to maintain professional and effective working relationships with all employees and tenants of the facility .
