We are seeking a Nurse Leader interested in joining a high-performing leadership team within a state-of-the-art Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab. The Electrophysiology Lab is a procedural area that provides complex cardiac care to patients throughout the region. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) will collaborate with the leadership team to energize and engage staff in achieving optimal patient outcomes. The ANM will assume an integral role in staff education, performance improvement initiatives, resource allocation, and orientation, while partnering with the Nurse Manager (NM) to articulate and achieve unit and organizational goals. Candidates must demonstrate effective group leadership, delegation, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to complete projects within designated timeframes. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to function effectively in a leadership role, remain flexible while caring for a diverse patient population, and work collaboratively as an active member of an interdisciplinary team. Experience in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements

  • Candidates must demonstrate effective group leadership, delegation, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to complete projects within designated timeframes.

  • Experience in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 3 years of Nursing experience in an acute care setting required.

  • certification in a Nursing specialty area upon hire preferred.

Responsibilities

  • In an inpatient setting, supports standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care.
  • Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others.
  • They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future.
  • Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service.
  • They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes.
  • May have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadership
