About The Position
The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Critical Care areas and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all Critical Care service line staff. She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate Degree, BSN preferred
- 2-3 yrs RN experience in Critical Care
- REGISTERED NURSE License
- BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) Certification
- PALS Certification
- ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) Certification
- NIH STROKE(within 60 days of hire/transfer effective date) Certification
- TNCC INEXPERIENCED: (WITHIN 2 YEARS OF HIRE OR TRANSFER) Certification
