Requirements
- Current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact required.
- Must have at least one (1) year previous leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years in an emergency department.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills required with the ability to prioritize with accuracy and speed.
- Must be highly proficient with emergency nursing clinical skills.
- Effective problem solving, critical thinking skills and a willingness to adapt to a changing work environment required.
- Must be an effective team-oriented leader, assisting and mentoring others to facilitate patient customer satisfaction.
- Maintains clinical and professional evidence-based competency levels required of age-specific populations.
- Must be able to identify appropriate staffing, supply, maintenance, and equipment needs and adjust as necessary within budgetary guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in specialty area preferred.
- BSN or Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
