About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Auxiliary Programs and Business Development, this position is responsible for all multimedia and technology components for all campus events and conferences, including video, audio, streaming, and all associated program or event multimedia assets (slide decks, graphics, etc.). Responsibilities: Directs and administers all aspects of multimedia production related to campus events and conferences Coordinate with departmental and external partners on overall schedule, vision, and strategy related to multimedia production. Hire, train, and supervise student employees under the direction of the Director. Coordinate student employee scheduling, equipment deployment, and production timelines with the Campus Recreation and Events Coordinator. Under the direction of the Director, interpret, revise, or propose policies related to multimedia services related to events and conferences. Manage and maintain all multimedia resources and equipment in all event spaces Provide subject matter expertise with the design, development, engineering, and deployment of multimedia resources--including maintenance, software updates, and planning Qualifications: Related Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution 3-5 years of full-time multimedia production experience. Demonstrated competency using relevant equipment, software, and other computer service-specific applications. Strong supervision skills with paid professional or paraprofessional employees Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ethical character to act as a role model for employees and students and in representing Carthage College to faculty, staff, external clients, governmental authorities, and other stakeholders. Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Experience managing operational budgets, financial management, and reporting. Requirements

  • Related Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
