The Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach reports to the Head Soccer Coach and is a key member of the coaching team, who provides leadership and vision within the Athletics Department, as well as among the student athletes. The position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the men’s soccer program(s) with commitment to the University, Red River Conference, and the NAIA. Assists with various aspects of the program, such as recruiting, scheduling opponents, fundraising, strength & conditioning, developing annual service/engagement projects for student-athletes, planning and preparation for matches and practices, mentoring and evaluating student-athletes, and academic monitoring. The position is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Texas A&M University-San Antonio (A&M-San Antonio), the Red River Athletics Conference (RRAC), and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). In addition, this person must be committed to the education Mission of the University.
