Reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach plays an integral role in advancing a competitive, student-centered Division I program at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. This position supports all facets of program operations, including delivering high-impact coaching and technical instruction; planning and leading in-season and out-of-season practices; scouting opponents; and identifying, recruiting, and developing student-athletes who excel both on the court and in the classroom. In alignment with UW-Green Bay’s mission to enrich, engage, and inspire learners and communities, the Assistant Coach helps foster academic success, ethical conduct, and personal growth, while ensuring full compliance with NCAA, Horizon League, and university standards. The Assistant Coach contributes to a culture that reflects UW-Green Bay’s strategic priorities—student success, inclusive access, and regional engagement—by building strong relationships across campus and beyond. Responsibilities include assisting with recruiting strategy and game preparation, coordinating alumni and donor engagement, and supporting special events that strengthen program visibility and community pride.
