Job Summary: The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting in development of, and leading projects within the marketing department of assigned in-market brands and products at Herr Foods. The individual must be able to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with an emphasis on collective, collaborative teamwork. This job is focused on program development and execution as well as the management of the day-to-day logistics of all key brand programs. Assists Marketing Manager(s) in timeline management, budget, and program analysis. The Assistant Marketing Manager will assist in the development of the brand's product and communication plans while collaborating with multi-function teams and agency partners to execute the programs. Employee will handle a significant amount of product management work including ensuring that products are enabled in the Integrated business planning system and projects are delivered on-time and within budgets. Assistant marketing manager will develop demand forecasts for new item launches as well as ongoing product lines. Critical to their success will be their ability to work closely with Research & Development, Supply Chain, Finance and Sales to ensure products are delivered to the market on agreed upon timelines. The employee should be well organized, excel at communicating, analytically strong, financially astute, and a quick study of assigned items and programs.
