About The Position

The Coppertop / Banquets Assistant Manager will support the Managers in both our Coppertop restaurant as well as in the Banquets department based on seasonality. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment; flexibility/adaptability, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills are a must. This position is located on-premises in Breckenridge, CO. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. Banquets Assistant Manager: As Banquets Assistant Manager, this position is responsible for supervising & supporting the day-of staff for all of our events, conferences, and meetings. The Assistant Manager will partner with the Banquets Manager to assist in planning, ensure all events are staffed and facilities are set up according to the Banquet Event Order, and adjust/adapt to any changes necessary for the smooth execution of the event. The Banquets Assistant Manager will help oversee the Banquets team and is responsible for scheduling, time and attendance, payroll, billing, purchasing orders, inventory, hiring, performance management, and department administration. Coppertop Assistant Manager: The Coppertop Assistant Manager will partner with the Coppertop Manager to run the multi-level Coppertop bar and restaurant. This person will act as Manager on Duty in the Coppertop Manager's absence. The Assistant Manager will help oversee scheduling, time and attendance, server section assignments, guest satisfaction, payroll, billing, purchasing orders, inventory, hiring, performance management, and department administration. Position starts at $58,656-$65,000 DOE

Requirements

  • Proficient at written and verbal communication in English - required
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain company insurance approval - required

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years banquets experience - preferred
  • 2+ years restaurant experience - preferred
  • 1+ years supervisory experience - preferred
  • Experience with InfoGenesis - preferred
  • ServSafe and Tips certification - preferred or ability to obtain
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as point of contact for Restaurant and Events guests
  • Ensure proper setup and staffing for restaurant and events
  • Assist in planning for Banquets and Events
  • Communicate with other departments regarding Banquets and Events
  • Inform impacted areas of disruptions
  • Keep everyone updated on requests/requirements, statuses, and timelines
  • Maintain inventory and supplies necessary for the department
  • Manage billing, purchasing orders, and financials
