About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager, helping to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly; acts as the Manager on Duty in the General Manager's absence; and performs all café duties and responsibilities as a member of the cafe staff. This location is open March through October and offers flexible scheduling with both weekday and weekend shifts available.

Requirements

Motivated self-starter dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience
One or more years of food service experience
One or more years of supervisory experience
Manager's Food Safety Certification. (If you don't have one, we will help you get one!)
Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for 4 to 8 hours with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

Support the Cafe Manager in day-to-day cafe operations
Create a positive and playful work environment in alignment with Bean Sprouts' core values
Provide an excellent guest experience
Ensure all menu items are consistently prepared and served according to Bean Sprouts recipes
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure adherence to food safety standards
Assist with training, ordering, inventory, and waste control
