About The Position

Mr. Bubbles Auto Spa has a position available for full time applicants for ASSISTANT MANAGER . As the Assistant Manager, one will oversee the performance of the wash from its employees and labor to assisting the Manager with the daily operations and profitability of the car wash facility. Responsible for the physical appearance of the site, equipment maintenance, maintaining a safe work environment, and chemical/supply inventories, assisting with prepping of vehicles prior to entering wash and ensuring that wash quality is maintained. Assisting in managing inventories and handling customer complaints as deemed appropriate by the Manager. Assists in staffing and training for the car wash facility. Contributes to the building of a team environment and assists the Manager as needed. The ideal candidate will have CAR WASH EXPERIENCE. We would strongly prefer a candidate with managerial work experience, given the high volume of customer interactions one will have when on site. Providing strong and quality customer service is what we at Mr. Bubbles strives for.

Requirements

Previous car wash experience a plus
Must be highly energetic, hard-working, and goal-oriented
Be mechanically inclined to assist in or perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to equipment
Excellent customer service skills required
Proven communication and leadership skills are a must
Degree or high school diploma preferred
Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Previous supervisory experience in a customer service industry
Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office
Previous POS systems/cashier experience
Ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions
Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds
Must be able to stoop, bend, twist for extended periods
Must be able to maneuver between and around cars
Must be willing to submit to a drug test
Must be willing to do background check
Must be 21 years or older to apply

Responsibilities

Execute open & close duties and follow designated procedures
Direct and supervise employees in the absence of the Site Manager
Provide training and oversight to site employees to ensure company standards and a safe working environment is maintained
Ensure employees are dressed according to uniform policy
Ensure a safe environment for all employees and customers by ensuring compliance with safety procedures
Create and manage employee schedules
Provide customers with information and benefits of joining the membership program
Implement sales strategies to increase membership sign ups
Address customer complaints in the absence of the Site Manager
Escalate customer complaints to the Site Manager when appropriate
Assist with cash management in the absence of the Site Manager
Be polite and available to address all customer concerns and handle them in a professional manner
Always be ready to assist customers with menu options and payment
Provide customers with information and benefits of the monthly membership programs
Guide cars onto the track with a focused, pleasant, and competent demeanor
Assist with prepping/washing of vehicles before entering the wash tunnel, ensuring attendants are following correct wash procedures.
Perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to entering the tunnel
Perform visual inspection of washed vehicles to ensure we are maintaining quality results.
Be proficient with all policies and procedures and able to perform them on a daily basis as needed and ensure the same for all other employees
Assist in maintaining service logs and equipment service schedules
Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized
Keep vacuums unclogged, hoses hung properly, and trash cans emptied
Work safely and report safety or maintenance issues to management
Other duties as assigned
