About The Position

Lead Evening Operations. Support Staff. Ensure Consistency of Care. At The Arc of Ocean County, our Toms River residential program supports individuals who benefit from structured routines, hands-on guidance, and consistent evening support. As an Assistant Manager on the 3–11p shift, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining stability during one of the most active parts of the day. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented residential setting and can confidently lead staff while supporting residents with daily living needs. As an Assistant Manager, you help bring this mission to life. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential or similar care setting
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing (no more than 5 points)
  • Demonstrates ability to provide leadership, remain dependable, and work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to perform essential physical aspects of the role, including providing assistance with mobility and other resident support needs
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends, with occasional schedule adjustments based on program needs
